Special Pro All Stars Series Doubleheader Headlines Stacked Weekend at White Mountain Motorsports Park
/N. Woodstock, NH — Coming off the stressful weekend that comes with the annual Double Points Midseason Championships, White Mountain Motorsports Park is set for a special Doubleheader weekend on Friday and Saturday, July 15th and 16th. The all-new Friday Special includes championship events for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models, New England Supermodified Series, PASS Modifieds and the New England Pro-4 Modifieds. On Saturday, the PASS Super Late Models return for a second 150-lap event along with the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers and Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis to complete a huge weekend in North Woodstock, New Hampshire.
The PASS Super Late Models are coming off a pair of thrilling 150-lap feature events at two extremely different racetracks. The 7-time PASS North champion Johnny Clark smacked the field at Seekonk Speedway on June 25 while 2018 track champion Gabe Brown earned his first ever win at Oxford Plains Speedway last Sunday. Both Brown and Clark are entered into the doubleheader 150-lap events, as are former Oxford 250 champions Wayne Helliwell, Jr., Ben Rowe and Joey Polewarczyk while competitive pilots Ryan Kuhn and Trevor Sanborn are also ready to take on the two-day challenge.
The triple-Modified Madness divisions on Friday will also showcase high speed thrills in three unique classes. The ultra-competitive PASS Mods are always ones to put on a show, especially at White Mountain while the New England Supermodified Series will be on hand to see just how fast one can rip around the quarter-mile. While the Super’s big-block engines make those winged beasts look ready to take flight, the inaugural visit for the New England Pro-4 Modifieds will show fans just how fast a 4-cylinder-powered rig can turn around the high banks.
Along with the second PASS 150 in as many days, Saturday also brings back championship competition for the Late Models, Flying Tigers and Strictly Stock Minis. With patience and consistency, 8-time ‘King of the Mountain’ Quinny Welch is ready to make it nine with a 45-point lead over Jesse Switser for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Model crown. Following an extremely off week for the 4NH of Shane Sicard, defending champion Jason Woodard is back atop the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger standings while rookie Kaiden Fisher sits third just 17-points back. Lastly, the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Minis continue to be led by Sophomore racer Chris Moulton from Pepperell, Massachusetts while Midseason Champion Tyler Thompson sits just 7-points back in second.
Next up at the White Mountain Motorsports Park is a special Friday Night event on July 15th. Headlined by the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model 150, the New England Supermodified Series also makes its debut on the North Woodstock high banks. Along for the ride will be the PASS Modifieds as well as the inaugural visit for the New England Pro-4 Modifieds. Post Time is set for 7:00pm with General Admission set at $20 for adults, $5 for kids 12 to 5 with Kids 5 and under free!
