Mini Late Model Debut Now Set for June 11th Spring Green 122
/N. Woodstock, NH — After rain postponed and redesigned the 2022 White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) schedule last weekend, the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models needed a new debut date. June 11th was highest on the list and the new division will now join the ACT Late Model Tour for the 47th edition of the Caron Fabrication Spring Green 122.
Set on rules utilized by the Maine-based Northeast Mini Stock Tour, WMMP officials immediately searched for dates without direct conflicts with the Tour. “We have no interest in conflicting with the NEMST schedule, we’d like to provide a place to race on ‘off weekends’ and I’m very impressed with the number of calls and registrations we’ve received so far,” said White Mountain managing partner Cris Michaud.
“It’ll be pretty special to have their debut alongside the American-Canadian Tour for the 47th Spring Green and I look forward to having them finally join the White Mountain family.”
The 47th Caron Fabrication Spring Green is set for a 6:00pm Post Time with the ACT Late Model Tour going for a 122-lap distance. Joining them will be the Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers, Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Mini Stocks, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars and the Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models.
But, before then, the White Mountain Motorsports Park season opens with Round #1 of the J.P. Sicard Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series plus the GoMotorsports NELCAR Tour Legends and Bandoleros. The Flying Tigers go for their first extra-distance race of 2022 alongside the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models, Strictly Stock Minis and Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division.
