Looking Ahead: Five Events to Look Forward to at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track in 2024

N. Woodstock, NH — Although 2024 is just barely getting off the ground, we’re already looking ahead to some of our favorite events in the upcoming year! After putting together an exciting schedule in November, we’ve really had to put our heads together to boil them all down to just five top picks!

Saturday, May 28, 2024 – HK Powersports Opening Day!

After a long winter’s offseason, Opening Day is always one of the biggest events of the year and 2024 will be no different. Planning a huge doubleheader weekend, White Mountain Motorsports Park is set to start the year in style! HK Powersports Opening Day on Saturday, May 18 will feature the annual Car Show at the track before the start of the King of the Mountain track championship campaign for the Foley Oil & Propane Late Models as well as the Woodsville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Minis, Ammonoosuc Asphalt Mini Late Models, Wayne’s Market Dwarf Cars along with the Dad’s 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and a visit from the R&R Race Parts NH Open Street Stocks!

Sunday, May 19 will feature the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model 150, New England Supermodified Series (NESS) and PASS Modifieds along with the debut of the ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series, doubling as Round #1 for the Central Asphalt Paving Triple Crown Series and the start of the year for the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers!

Saturday, July 13 and 14, 2024 – Midseason Championship Doubleheader Weekend!

The doubleheaders don’t stop there! Saturday, July 13 brings the all-important Midseason Championships for the White Mountain track championship divisions! Double points on the line means double the intensity for these championship-caliber teams and creates some of the hottest racing of the summer season! Saturday will also feature the return of Kids Rides for our favorite little race fans to get in a few laps at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track with some of their favorite drivers!

Sunday, July 14 brings back the PASS Super Late Models, NESS Supermodifieds and PASS Modifieds for their own midseason spectacular, putting an exclamation point on the weekend! All in all, nine divisions will compete during the two-day doubleheader, all of them with championship implications for the 2024 season!

Saturday, July 27, 2024 – New Hampshire Governor’s Cup Twin 100s

The New Hampshire Governor’s Cup returns to White Mountain Motorsports Park in a big way in 2024! Under a twin 100-lapper format that includes the inaugural Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event at New Hampshire’s Favorite Short Track and the second of four rounds in the Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series!

The Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series has annually featured a who’s-who all-star roster of open wheeled aces including ‘Big Money’ Matt Hirschman who has already stated his excitement to return to the Mountains! The Wall’s Ford Platinum Late Model Series is also expected to showcase a talent-laden roster with continued growth and interest over the past two seasons for a masterful match-up and a can’t-miss one-day show!

Saturday, August 3, 2024 – 7th annual Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250

The Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 has quickly become one of the Northeast’s full-fendered crown jewels and one of the most exciting American-Canadian Tour events of the summer schedule. In six years, the Milton CAT Midsummer Classic 250 has annually boasted 40+ car counts from teams across New England and Quebec, Canada and year seven looks to continue that tradition!

It’s also certain to continue the tradition of tough, hard-nosed competition through every lap, especially after West Burke, Vermont’s Jesse Switser proved anything is possible by winning his qualifying spot in the Last Chance B-Feature and taking the $10,000 winner’s share 250 laps later in 2023!

Saturday, September 21, 2024 – 46th Fall Foliage 200 ACT/PASS Doubleheader

The month of September features an impressive line-up, including the Wall’s Platinum Series Championship, R&R Race Parts Open Street Stock 100 and championship night to round out the season but after the last several seasons, one event stands highest on the mountain!

The Fall Foliage 200 on Saturday, September 21 will once again showcase a powerhouse doubleheader between ACT and PASS, also including the NESS Supermodifieds, PASS Modifieds and the Fisher Auto Parts Flying Tigers with a little something for every Northeast race fan! Nearly 500 laps of feature racing action with New England’s premier Tours and Series, the 46th Fall Foliage simply can’t be beat!
